Monthly meetings are typically held on the first Thursday of each month and provide members an opportunity to network and enjoy professional presentations from the best leaders in the energy management industry.
Because the technologies utilized by our members are often similar yet sometimes vastly unique, we enjoy the chance to learn from each other and appreciate the talented professionals that provide products and services to the DFW region.

There is a new opportunity to use backup generation to improve energy cost and risk for Texas schools and public facilities. The Texas Energy Fund is implementing an incentive for onsite microgrids - see preliminary info here. Starting assessments now can allow interested school districts to be early in line & receive the highest incentives.
Alternatively, using backup generators (& controllable loads & batteries where cost-effective) can create cost savings through reduced demand charges and energy market revenues - because backup generators may now be used more for grid support through new programs such as the Aggregate Distributed Energy Resource (ADER) Pilot.
Backup generation systems may be purchased outright, or financed through the savings & revenue streams with no capital outlay.

We’ve had some really productive discussions coming out of the presentations, which has caused us to run a bit over. To make room for networking and Q&A, I’ve shifted our start time to 11:00 AM. This should allow us to begin the presentation by 11:45 AM and still finish by 1:00 PM so everyone can get back to work on time.
