The Master Energy Manager (MEM) Certification Course is an advanced program designed for experienced energy professionals seeking to elevate their strategic leadership in energy and sustainability management. Building upon foundational knowledge from the Accredited Energy Manager (AEM) certification and the Foundations of Planning course, this program delves into the sophisticated processes of developing, implementing, and continually optimizing comprehensive energy and sustainability master plans within an organizational context. Participants will gain the tools and insights necessary to drive significant energy cost reductions, enhance operational efficiency, and champion long-term sustainability initiatives.

This is an exam for the Accredited Energy Manager (AEM) credential. This exam is for individuals who have completed all of the AEM course work. All course work must be completed before you can register for the Certification exam.

The overall goal of this 3 level course is to provide the student with a general understanding of controls and their association with HVAC equipment, troubleshooting, energy usage, and general building operation. There will be hands-on individual and team exercises in manipulating graphics, analyzing data, logic programming and basic functional testing. This course is built to simplify the world of controls and give confidence to the students to talk the language.
